Ukrainian authorities want to allow admin protocols without the presence of an violater
The head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy, people's deputy from the “Servant of the People” faction Andrei Kostin initiated a change in the procedure for compiling a protocol on an administrative offense.
This is discussed in bill No. 3327, which was published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to the current rules, they make up the administrative protocol within 24 hours from the moment of identification of the person who committed the offense, and only in his presence.
The bill also proposes that the administrative protocol can be issued three months later, without the presence of the offender.
Also, the author of the amendments proposed the introduction of a norm that, if the person was not present at the time of drawing up the protocol, then the second copy of the document should be sent to the address of his residence or service.
