Ukraine participated in International Exhibition“Gulf Defence & Aerospace”
Ukrainian special exporting companies-subsidiaries of the State Concern "UkrOboronProm" (“SpetsTechnoExport”, Progress”) as well as LLC Deviro and LLC UkrSpetsSystems participated in the 5th International defence exhibition and conference “Gulf Defence & Aerospace” held in Kuwait on December 10-12, 2019.
GDA is the leading bi-annual show for industry professionals and business people from all over the world. The 5th edition of the International tri-service Defense Exhibition and Conference dedicated to Defense, Aerospace, Homeland Security and Safety & Security, is held under the patronage of Kuwait’s Defence Ministry. About 212 companies from 31 countries of the world participated in the conference this year.
On December 10, 2019 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Dr.Oleksandr Balanutsa participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition, after which he met with the representatives of Ukrainian companies who were assured that the Embassy would provide them with all necessary assistance in promoting Ukrainian products in Kuwaiti market.
The Ukrainian booth at the exhibition was visited by the high guest of the show the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the State of Kuwait lieutenant general Muhammed Al-Khedr, as well as by chiefs and representatives of General Staffs and Ministries of Defence of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan.
