KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ The member of political party UDAR Iryna Herashchenko said, over UAH 63 bln spent on anti-terrorist operation this year.
More than UAH 63 billion was allocated from the state budget for the army in 2014, and philanthropists donated to UAH 155 million to the Armed Forces.
The head of the parliament's interim investigation commission checking the use of funds allocated from the state budget and transferred by Ukrainians in supported of the Armed Forces, UDAR MP Iryna Herashchenko, said this at a briefing on Wednesday.
"The total sum allocated from the state budget in 2014 for the needs of all law enforcement agencies and other government agencies involved in holding the anti-terrorist operation was UAH 40.451 billion transferred from the general fund, UAH 18.287 billion from the reserve fund, and UAH 4.999 billion from the special fund," she said.
She also added that according to the State Treasury Service, philanthropists transferred nearly UAH 155 million for the army.
At the same time, the commission concluded that the Defense Ministry and other security agencies had been delaying the purchase of vehicles and equipment required for the army.
