31 March in Doha hosted a round table, which was intended to harmonize the participants of the V Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions. The initiator of the event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Qatar.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Qatar Askar Shokubai, Director of the Qatar international centre for interfaith dialogue Ibrahim al-Naimi, Muslim and Christian communities of Qatar, the heads of foreign diplomatic missions, including the Ambassador of Ukraine.

Ambassador Mikitenko drew attention to the efforts of Ukraine for dialogue between representatives of all world religions, in particular through the organization on its territory since 2010 Kyiv interconfessional forum.

The roundtable participants agreed on the importance of the participation of delegations in their countries scheduled for June Vth Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions in Kazakhstan. Traditionally the host of the Congress, is Kazakhstan.

The meeting is a gathering of delegates of the main world faiths. In 2009, at the III Congress of religious leaders were five breakout groups: Moral values, Peace and security
