Ukraine in Arabic | The first overseas office of the Turkic Council opened in Kiev
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ A few days ago a central office of the United Diaspora of Ukrainian Azerbaijanis (ODAU) and the first overseas office of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries (Turkic Council) was opened in Ukrainian capital.

According to the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ramil Hasanov, the Council will be the symbolic home of peace and brotherhood of all Turkic peoples. He briefed on the activities of the organization, saying that the Board will include representatives from each of the Diaspora, who will be elected for a term of 3 years.
“The organization's activities will be carried out on the principle of equality", Hasanov stressed.
The first chairman of the Turkic Council will be the head of the United Diaspora of Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Hikmet Javadov. Further along the alphabetic principle management of this organization will be passed to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, etc.
All participants of the meeting declared support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.

Turkic Council is an intergovernmental organization founded by Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in 2010 for deeper cooperation between the Turkic states. It serves as a new regional instrument for the promotion of international cooperation in Central Asia, Caucasus, Middle East and South Eastern Europe.
