Ukraine in Arabic | The festival «Ramadan - Happiness in worship" was held in Kherson
Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ Teams from 19 towns of Kherson region (270 participants) was performed Madai (chants) in 7 languages: Ukrainian, Arabic, Uzbek, Turkish, Tatar, English and Russian. The participants sang madiha on religious themes, but also about friendship, family and love to parents. Some of the works were accompanied by subtitles on the screen.
The festival was opened the young participants aged 4 to 12 years, performing madih called "a Kind word is charity". Kindness to people is a great quality. Able to melt the heart. Sincerity, kindness and patience makes a person stronger, help him to reach the heights in our spiritual development. And the formation in man of values such as honor and dignity, conscience, and love – are the key to success and proper development of society.
Congratulations and best wishes were passed from the mayor, the Governor, the Department of internal policy, school Directors, and on behalf of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis.
Present at the event, the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed congratulated all with the onset of Ramadan. In his speech he said that in Kherson in peace and harmony with people of different nationalities and that the Muslims make their good contribution to the development of human values, as well as doing everything for the cohesion of the multicultural society in Ukraine. He stressed that our homeland is Ukraine, and it is one for all! And this festival is the best proof of the cohesion of such Ukrainian society.
But the festival is not restricted to the scene. In the foyer was opened an exhibition of children's drawings on the theme: "My Ramadan". Wish they sent their young artists in the mosque of Kherson, then to them could admire all the participants.
In the finale of the festival, the leaders of the groups were awarded diplomas, and the participants – the fireworks and the rain of shiny confetti.
The holding of such festivals are meant to unite Muslims, to strengthen friendly relations, to attract more adults and children to receive religious knowledge and increase interest in the study of Religion. Islamic culture and traditions — our priceless treasure that should be protected and to develop and which to teach our children!
