Ukraine in Arabic | The experts reviewed the National strategy and of the rights of national minorities of Ukraine
Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ The Council of the Ministry of culture of Ukraine has considered the issue of the National strategy in the field of human rights.
on March 10, during the fifth session of the Commission on interethnic relations of the public Council of the Ministry of culture of Ukraine has considered the findings of the National strategy in the field of human rights.
Theses Strategies were agreed at the meeting of the parliamentary Committee on human rights, national minorities and interethnic relations. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Larissa Abramovich.
It is reported by the NGO "International Union" (IP). Deputy Chairman of the Board IP Natalia Mahakali explained the concept and the main stages of work on a National strategy.
According to the information of IP, a key Strategy will be to ensure the right to life of persons belonging to national minorities of Ukraine; the reform of criminal justice and law enforcement; ensuring freedom of expression and access to information; ensuring the rights of participants in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO); the protection of the rights of internally displaced persons and others.
In addition, members of the Commission supported the proposal Natalia Micahel on the establishment of the Commission Working group on the draft National action plan on implementation of the National strategy in the field of human rights.
Note that the national strategy in the field of human rights aimed at the implementation in 2015-2020 strategic goals for certain of its principles, with the aim of eliminating soil for violations of human rights, fundamental freedoms and the introduction of effective mechanisms to ensure their implementation.
