This was announced today in Kiev, said the Secretary General of the Council of Europe thorbjørn Jagland, who paid a visit to Ukraine, reports Liga.
"There are three safeguards that should ensure the new Constitution, the reform process, and all these priorities laid out in our plan," he said. "I see the desire to release the state bodies from corruption. Need to do more. Any hint of nepotism weakens Ukraine. The lower the trust of society - the less international respect and the less foreign investment," he said.
"We also want to see how it will be implemented the law on the protection of internally displaced persons In the context of human rights protection, Jagland also noted the need to end human trafficking, ensuring media freedom, minority rights are protected.
"There is one area that I want to highlight - Ukraine must end the abuse and impunity in the prisons and the police. Our Committee for the prevention of torture during the last visit found a huge abuse, especially at the hands of prison staff," said he.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman stated that until October Kiev will hold decentralization that will suit everyone.
