600 thousand citizens in Israel who cannot vote

Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ March 17 Tuesday, after verification by the national office of population registration and immigration, it became clear that on election day outside of Israel there are about 624 thousand citizens.

Earlier it became known that elections are eligible to vote nearly six million Israelis, namely 5.883.365 people.

Moreover, the number of Israelis are eligible to vote (18 years and older) among citizens abroad, not specified. Thus, among the percentage of individuals who do not appear on the election will be those who on election day is abroad and cannot vote.

President Reuven Rivlin called on all Israelis to decide the future of the state as dictated by the worldview".

According to the President, today's vote is compulsory for everyone. "The Israelis have to take the destiny of their country into their own hands," said the politician.  The President, who arrived at the polling station at 8 am, was voted one of the first residents of his neighborhood.
