According to the government, the structure must be constructed to prevent the penetration of terrorists into the country of the group Islamic State (IG), which controls several areas in neighboring Tunisia, Libya.
"We have started the construction of the wall and ditch digging throughout the border with Libya. The length of the wall will be 168 kilometers, its construction will be completed by the end of 2015," - said the Prime Minister.
