Ukraine in Arabic | New Channel hosted children from national minorities of Ukraine
KYIV/Ukraine in arabic/On Tuesday, 24 of June, a popular Ukrainian TV channel “New Channel” has opened its doors to children of different nationalities and show them secrets of television “kitchen” and fascinating inner life of a channel. The kids got such a possibility after they’ve won a competition held in the framework of the child’s holiday “With love in your heart”.
Excursion on the channel started from one of the most interesting place where everybody could be transformed beyond recognition, - colorful dressing room. When children came in it was going a discussion of the new image for one of the TV program there. Carried out the tour PR-manager Alisa Pivovarova told children about her work schedule and the purpose of this mysterious room.
After that kids visited the “heart” of a channel, the TV studio. There they were told that that is a place where the morning television program “Reveille” and the entertainment information program “Paragraph” are shooting.
A genuine interest in children was caused by television and lighting equipment. They learned a lot of useful information about work days at studio, a meaning of word “prompter” and a shooting schedule. Also kids have examined a requisite and made a lot of questions to Alisa Pivovarova.
Walking at channel’s place the guide showed an interesting initiative of the staff – “the exchange library”, where every employee can take or bring any interesting book or film for his colleagues.
After that children got acquainted with the principles of the work process hiding behind the door with a mysterious inscription "TJK" and tried themselves in the role of television journalists of "New Channel".
The next stop was an ethereal apparatus room. Children had a chance to see different remotes, learn about hard and honorable work of journalists and the role of advertisement in a TV.
The place where TV programs are making – cutting room - fascinated children by its capabilities. The film editor told children about creating an announcement of the film and showed already made developments for the next broadcast.
The explosion of emotions in children was caused by meeting with the main voice of the channel – Alexsey Safin. He totally amazed them with his talent. A huge microphone at his workplace also kindled their interest. Go to the full delight of children from ethnic minorities Safin greeted them at the studio on “New Channel” and said some popular phrases from TV announcements.
Next exciting stop turned out to be an open-space office. There were many different interesting things on the staff tables so kids were so excited that did not know which way to look. The best-looking for them was a designer table. A butterfly in the glass jar and funny smiling rabbit emphasized creativity and individuality of their owner. Friendly TV designer underlined a professionalism of his colleagues and show the guys his own achievements which will be aired on the forthcoming birthday of the channel. Also he advised them to learn the profession of 3D-designer, site developer sites and a specialist in polygraph, because in that case they will be able to work on TV in future.
The atmosphere during the excursion on TV was fascinating and friendly. The channel’s staff warmly welcomed the children and willingly shared with them their professional secrets. Kids didn’t want to leave and say goodbye to a fairytale they have been in.
At the end of the tour children enthusiastically talked that they’ll certainly become TV journalists, presenters, filmmakers and designers and will work at “New Channel”.
