Ukraine in Arabic | Netherlands: Israel must be punished for war crimes against Gaza
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ A spokesperson for the protesters said the international community has so far stood silently by in face of Israel's war crimes in Gaza. He also criticised the Dutch government's policy and attitude towards the Israeli aggression.
Nearly 2,000 protestors have gathered in front of the Dutch Parliament in The Hague to demand that the international community prosecute Israeli officials over their involvement in the recent Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip, which lasted for more than 50 days and led to the killing of more than 2,000 Palestinians, mostly civilians.
Palestinian, Turkish, Moroccan and Dutch protesters, alongside anti-Zionist Jews, started their demonstration with a moment of silence for all those who died as a result of the Israeli assault on Gaza.
The demonstrators then chanted pro-Palestinian slogans, such as "Freedom for Palestine", "Boycott Israeli goods", "End the Israeli occupation", "Netanyahu is a murderer" and "We are all Palestinians".
