Ukraine in Arabic | Muslims fully integrated into Ukrainian society, said Sheikh Hussam al-Halawani
Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ Sheikh Hussam al-DIN al-Halawani : Extremist groups that recruit young people from Arab and Islamic countries, lead to their death.
This opinion in a recent interview with the Voice of al-Azhar" was expressed by the head of foreign relations Department of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Ukraine Sheikh Hussam al-DIN al-Halawani, calling for joint efforts of religious institutions of the Islamic countries for the treatment of young people.
Sheikh al-Halawani stressed that the chief Imam of al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed al-Taieb teaches courses on counteraction of extremist views, drawing attention to what has already managed to achieve some progress in the educational strategy, the essence of which consists in the separation of religion and politics.
Head of foreign relations Department of the state Spiritual administration of Muslims in Ukraine noted that the Muslims of Ukraine do not feel any discrimination and practice their religion freely. Al-Halawani added that al-Azhar and his teaching is durable and reliable fortress in opposition to the extremist groups, stressing the importance of rational public discourse for understanding problems:
"How can we protect our youth from these religious and ideological wars? The Lord gave us this great religion, and our pious prophets showed us the way to success. We want to attract young people and to teach her the true Islam. Why some young people follow extremist groups? We have many religious organizations, associations, centers, especially in Europe, which contributes to their prosperity on the basis of democratic principles, human rights and freedom of speech. However, many of them use the capabilities of these countries to spread their poisonous ideas and export of ordinary Muslims. They play with their feelings and love for religion. And the worst thing is that ordinary people use to kill or carrying out bombings in the name of Islam in European capitals. Therefore, representatives of al-Azhar should carry these ideas of Islam in all continents, countries and languages of certain peoples for those who want to know the truth of the religion of Muslims " said Sheikh Hussam al-Halawani
