Ukraine in Arabic | March 11 will decide the financial fate of Ukraine, IMF

The Board of Directors on March 11, will consider the Ukrainian request for the program "advanced funding". The International Monetary Fund confirmed the previously announced plan to consider on March 11, the program of cooperation with Ukraine

Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of cooperation with the IMF. The IMF confirmed the previously announced plan to consider on March 11, the program of cooperation with Ukraine for a period of 4 years with funding of $ 17.5 billion dollars.

According to the plan of the meeting of the Directors of the Fund, 11 March the Council will consider the proposal of Ukraine to the program "advanced funding" (EFF) and the termination of the program "stand-by".

Earlier Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko said that the first payment of the IMF will be a significant part from 17.5 billion dollars promised loan. It is expected that the first tranche will be distributed equally between the national Bank and the Cabinet.

Preliminary, subject to the approval of the program by the Board of Directors of the Fund is to adopt a two-year schedule of increase of energy tariffs for the population to increase grants, amendments to the budget-2015, pension and banking legislation.
