Ukraine in Arabic | Kadyrhanov stand up for Chechens
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On October 16th, the head of Dagestani fraternity in Ukraine Zubair Kadyrhanov said that not all immigrants are in solidarity with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He told about this during a meeting of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) Oleksandr Turchynov with representatives of the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU) and diasporas.
In particular, Zubair Kadyrhanov stressed that representatives of the so-called ‘Caucasian nationality’ fully support Ukrainian position in the Ukrainian-Russian conflict.
“We have families here. My wife is Ukrainian and my children grow up here in Ukraine. So it’s very important for us to here that we’re the part of this country”, - he said.
Head of Dagestani fraternity also interceded for the honor of the brotherly Chechen people accused by Ukrainian media for participation in the war at the east of the country on the pro-Russian militants side.
Kadyrhanov stressed that there are many representatives of different nationalities in the ranks of separatists, but journalists focus attention exactly on the Chechens. “Over the last 2 years Chechen diaspora has done a lot for Ukraine and it’s very disappointing when because of mistakes of individual people all nation is blacken”, said Kadyrhanov.
It’s shout to be noted that on May 15th, at the briefing in Kiev on The Chechens about Ukrainian Crisis topic the representatives of the Diaspora of the Chechen people in Ukraine public organization officially announced that Chechen people takes no part in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and offered not to project the political conflict to relations between nations.
