Ukraine in Arabic | Islamic University took part in the Kharkov’s exhibition
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ From 4 till 6 October The Osvita Slobozhanshchina-2013 fifth exhibition with international participation took place in The Radmir Expohall center in Kharkov. The event was supported by the Department of Education and Science of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration and the Department of Education of the Kharkiv city council. The Islamic University of Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims also was presented at the exhibition among others.
The event was opened by Imam of Kharkov Damurali Madadov. He briefly outlined the role of DUMU in the life of Muslims and society in general. A large number of exhibition visitors showed great interest in the Islamic University. Children, parents, teachers and university professors asked many questions about Islam, Muslims and their traditions. Guests of the exhibition acquainted with the Islam literature of The AY Group publishing house.
The Islamic University (IU) during its existence has prepared a lot of imams ant teachers of Islamic sciences who are currently working in the Muslim community centers and associations in Ukraine, Russia and other countries.
The University specializes in training professionals with a deep knowledge of the Islamic faith and other religious sciences. There are 2 major theological and legal schools of Islam, followed by Muslims in our country - Shafi'i and Hanafi - are taught at IU. The University also organized educational groups for foreign students.
Islamic University maintains contacts with well-known in the Muslim world the eldest Al-Azhar Cairo University.
IU also conducts open religious courses for all comers.
