Ukraine in Arabic | In Kiev was presented magazine “Universe”, which introduce Ukrainian literature to azerbaidjanians.
Kiev/Ukraine in Arabic/ On the January 16 in National museum of Taras Shevchenko was helded presentation of special edition of magazine “Universe”(devoted to Ukrain, print “ World literature”). It is released with help of peple’s deputy of Ukraine Sergei Taruta and intended to introduce classics and contemporaries of Ukrainian literary process to azerbaidjanians.
Presentation took place in attendance of embassador of Azerbaijan in Ukraine Eynulla Yadulla. Also there were Sergei Taruta , distinguished artist AR Rafig Gashimov, senior consultant of culture minisrty and tourizm of AR Aslan Dzhafarov, social and political representative Burzu Aliev, leader of azerbaidjanic expat community Ravshan Tagiev, editor in chief of magazine “World literature” Seiffaddin Safarov and others.
The arrangement was a preparation to “ Azerbaidjania-ukrainian literary meetings”, which are planed to be in Baku in this year from 25 to 30 of January.
The magazine was introduced by deputy of VR of Ukraine S.A. Taruta, and embassador of Azerbaijan in Ukraine Eynulla Yadulla. Diplomatic official congratulated editors office of issue and handed over diplomas to most active nationals, mentioning that their work contribute to drawing of our nations.
Sergei Taruta reminded, than “now in Ukraine there are 50 azerbaidjan students, that choose top Ukrainian universities ( KNU, KPI, NPU and others), what confirms tolerance of our country”, - deputy said.
Famous in Ukraine azerbaidjanian Burzu Hangulu Aliev also congratulated his nationals with the end of such an important work and publication of 300-paged magazine “Universe”. “Our nations are so close, that under any political guidance, we keep good fellowship. And literature became that very bridge that strengthen it”, - he said.
In that magazine one can read not just Ukrainian classics, but also famous contemporaries, among them azerbaidjanians can find Sergaei Zhadan, Maria Matios, Yaroslav Melnic, Yuri Andruhovich, Kostya Moskalets, Mikhail Slaboshpitskogo, Maryanna Kianovskaya, Vladimir Costelman, Alexander Kabanov, Lesya Mudrak, Dmitri Chistiak, Miroslav Layuka, Alena Maluga, Zhanna Bezpyatchuk, Dmitri Stus and many others.
Editor in chief Seiffaddin Guseinly has a lot to be proud of. For this is not just periodical edition, but full anthology in which there are the most remarkable poets and writers of Ukraine.
Editors of “World literature” made a great contribution in strengthening of friendship between our countries, which will help to dismantle a soviet stereotype about azerbaidjanians among Ukrainian people.
