Ukraine in Arabic | FM: Estonia ratified EU-Ukraine Association Agreement
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ The Estonian Parliament on Tuesday by a majority vote ratified the Association agreement with the European Union, Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova, which provides for the deepening of economic relations of these countries with the EU, harmonization in the field of law and development of free trade zones, said the press service of the highest legislative body of the country.
Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin wrote on Twitter.
“Estonia ratified the Association Agreement / Thank you, Estonia, for ratifying Ukraine-EU Association Agreement," a statement reads.
"The purpose of the agreement the Union with the European Union is to strengthen political and economic relations of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova with the European Union and the gradual access of these countries to the EU market. The agreement will help to contribute to the development of free trade zone between Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova and the EU. An important part of the Treaty of Union is to harmonize the national jurisdiction of these countries with the EU legislation, " reads the report of the Estonian Parliament.
Earlier, the Agreement was ratified by Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Malta.
27 June, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine signed with the European Union Association agreement, providing for the entry into the free trade zone with the EU. Regarding Ukraine's transition to an economic Association with the EU postponed until January 2016.
