Ukraine in Arabic | Fenerbahce team set to play again after attack

Fenerbahce will play on Thursday after almost a two-week absence following the gun attack on their team bus, which led to the suspension of Turkey's SuperLig.

Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/  The club, who have agreed to face Mersin in the cup after receiving security assurances from the government, had initially stated they would not play until the crime was solved.

 Turkish football chiefs claimed the 4 April attack was "terrorist" related.

 The SuperLig resumes on Friday. Fenerbahce will play its next league match on Monday against Bursaspor.

Remind, The driver was hit in the face and taken to hospital but no players were injured in the incident, which took place as the team were travelling to Trabzon Airport after a 5-1 win at Caykur Rizespor. The governor of Trabzon, Abdil Celil Oz, said the two suspects – one aged 37 and the other 27 – were detained early on Tuesday. Both men have denied the charges against them.

The club said it would not play again until the incident was resolved and the Turkish Football Federation announced that league games would be suspended for one week.
