Ukraine in Arabic | DUMU products on the International book fair in Istanbul
Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ Official distributor of printed editions of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Ukraine (DUMU) publishing house "St group" participated in the 6th International book fair, which took place from 12 po may in Istanbul.
The event was organized by the publishers Association of Turkey. This year the exhibition has become international.
The event was attended by about 160 publishers from Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, the Arabian Peninsula, Yemen, Palestine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and other countries. The book fair took place in Istanbul's Sirkeci station.
"Visitors and publishers were pleasantly surprised to learn that we came from Ukraine, where I live and work with Muslims. They were attracted by the diversity of our literature. We were approached and asked how Muslims living in the Slavic state. We talked about us and about our work with no obstacles from the state. We hope that we managed to leave a positive impression of our company and to raise the image of our country in the eyes of the international community".
The aim of the exhibition was to familiarize with the world of religious and scientific literature, as well as contracts with local producers and other publishers. The publisher of "paranormal group", in particular, received many offers of cooperation, but also invited to the book fair, which will take place next year.
Visitors to the exhibition were as publishers and book lovers, teachers, students of schools and universities, as well as tourists, some of whom speak Ukrainian and Russian languages. Visitors had the opportunity to meet some authors and get answers to their questions. Special guest of the fair was the son of the President of Turkey Bilal Erdogan.
