Two drones of the Armenian Armed forces attempted to fly over the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces on the border with the Nagorno Karabakhi. However, they were discovered and destroyed.

However, they were discovered and destroyed. This was reported by the Agency Contact.az with reference to the message of the Ministry of defense of Azerbaijan.

The incident occurred on July 4 in Tartar district. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict began in February 1988, when the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous oblast declared its withdrawal from the Azerbaijani SSR.

In September 1991 in the heart of Nagorno-Karabakh Stepanakert announced the creation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR). Official Baku considered this act as illegal, abolishing existed in the Soviet years the autonomy of Karabakh.

Started following this armed conflict lasted until may 12, 1994, when entered into force the agreement on a truce. Azerbaijan lost control over Nagorno-Karabakh and – completely or partially – seven adjoining districts.
