Ukraine in Arabic | Canada is interested in condition of Muslims in Ukraine

Today, on 21 of January in Spiritual administration of Muslims in Ukraine (SAMU) came delegation headed by deputy of Canadian parliament Peter Goldring. Foreign guests held a meeting with mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim and also with the head of foreign contacts department SAMU Sheikh Husam Halavany. As Press service of SAMU reported.

Kiev/Ukraine in Arabic/ Today, on 21 of January in Spiritual administration of Muslims in Ukraine (SAMU) came delegation headed by deputy of Canadian parliament Peter Goldring. Foreign guests held a meeting with mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim and also with the head of foreign contacts department SAMU Sheikh Husam Halavany. As Press service of SAMU reported.

Deputy thanked for warm welcome and possibility to know about life of Muslims in Ukraine in more details. In his turn Sheikh Ahmed Tamim also warmly greeted delegation and expressed his joy about this meeting. Spiritual leader of Muslims in Ukraine shared with P.Goldring the results of activity of SAMU and gave to Canadian parliamentary periodic editions. Now in Canada one can read newspaper “Minaret” and magazine for children “Happy firefly”. Such editions will help Canadians to understand particularities of life of Muslims in Ukraine and imagine cultural life of religious minority in multicultural country.

Peter Goldring highly estimated the role of SAMU in unity of multinational Ukrainian society. And this is especially important at this rough time for all country. Referring to the words of all others representatives of Canadian parliament and citizens of Canada, he also passed words of greeting and wishes of unity to citizens of Ukraine of all nationalities and cultures.
