Ukraine in Arabic | Arseniy Yatsenyuk : Debts of Firtash companies exceed UAH 6 billion
Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ Yatsenyuk said that Firtash and Lyovochkin almost leave Odesa Port Plant bankrupt
Arseniy Yatsenyuk Ukraine’s Prime Minister ordered an investigation by the Energy Ministry in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior to investigate the attempted bankrupting of Odesa Port Plant by Firtash and Lyovochkin by setting an unreasonably high price for gas, sold to the Port by the affiliated companies.
"They wanted to bankrupt the Odesa Port Plant. The Ministry of Internal Affairs began criminal proceedings there.
They deliberately overpriced the natural gas delivered there to drive it into bankruptcy. It’s a group of "Yanukovych Lyovochkin-Firtash". Damage to the state has been inflicted and, therefore, the Interior Ministry began criminal proceedings,” said Yatsenyuk at the ministerial collegium.
At the same time, Andriy Kobolev, chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, also present at the collegium, said that the debts of the Firtash’s companies for earlier consumed gas have exceeded UAH 6 billion.
