Ukraine in Arabic | All-Ukrainian meeting of the Chechen diaspora held in Kiev
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On January 12, a meeting of The Diaspora of Chechen people Ukrainian public organization took place in The Mikom-Palace business center. The event was attended by representatives of 14 regional organizations, a head of the Diaspora Daniil Goncharov, its chairman Salman Sadayev and chairman of International Union public organization (IU) Larisa Abramovich.
Sadayev said that one of the main objectives of the Diaspora is the membership of all public organizations of Ukrainian ministries and state departments.
Currently, the Diaspora of Chechen people is a member of public organizations under the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science, and others.
Sadayev also issued a report on the work of the Diaspora over the past year, noting the importance of cooperation with IU and UMMA news agency. According to him, the work carried out by the organization, changed the people’s stereotype about Chechens. Daniil Goncharov.
During the meeting, Daniil Goncharov was unanimously elected as leader of the Diaspora by voting of the participants. Salman Sadayev was also reelected as the chairman of the organization.
Upon completion of the congress an action plan for 2013 was read out.
