Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ May 18, Ukraine mourns and honors the memory of victims of political repression of the Crimean Tatar people.

Spiritual administration of Muslims of Ukraine in the person of the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim refers to the Crimean Tatar people with sincere condolences to the family and friends of those killed in the years of Stalin's deportation may 18, 1944

Dozens of years away from home has brought a lot of grief, but in spite of ordeals that befell the Crimean Tatar people, he was able to survive and keep their beautiful tradition, following by their ancestors.

Through the years, away from home, keeping the love for his native land and upon returning, the Crimean Tatars faced with new challenges. But we hope that the rights of the Crimean Tatar people will be restored and every Muslim will feel a full member of society.

May the Almighty keep grant of the Crimean Tatar people strength and patience, peace and stability and prosperity to every Crimean Tatar family. Let's not repeat those terrible events of former times, and never suffer such grief.
