Ukraine hits new record with over 4,700 cases on Oct 7

As many as 105,970 patients, including 2,569 in the past day, have recovered

Ukraine said 4,753 new active COVID-19 cases had been confirmed across the country in the past 24 hours as of October 7, 2020, marking yet another highest daily rise.

The total number of confirmed cases grew to 239,337, as seen on the interactive map compiled by the National Security and Defense Council.

As many as 105,970 patients, including 2,569 in the past day, have recovered.

The death toll has reached 4,597 with 77 fatalities recorded in the past day.

The government reported 128,770 active cases as of October 7.

In total, 2,455,407 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests have been run since the outbreak.
