Ukraine exported 22 mln tonnes of cereals during lasting year

Wheat exports totaled over 10 million tonnes Since the beginning of the 2018-2019 marketing year (MY, July 2018 - June 2019) Ukraine exported 21.7 million tonnes of grains. Such information was released by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported.
In particular, wheat exports totaled over 10 million tonnes, while barley exports stood at 3.1 million tonnes, and maize – at 8.1 million tonnes.In addition, during the reporting period, farmers supplied to foreign markets some 117,400 tonnes of wheat flour.
As was reported earlier, referring to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in 2017-2018 MY, agrarians exported 39.9 million tonnes of cereals.
