Ukraine capital begins cooperation with Israel to support smart city

The city of Kyiv begins cooperation with Israeli partners to support smart city startups. The agreement was signed at Kyiv Smart City Forum 2019, the press service of Kyiv City State Administration reported.

The agreement was signed at Kyiv Smart City Forum 2019, the press service of Kyiv City State Administration reported.

“Kyiv has begun cooperation with Israeli partners to support smart city startups. Our cooperation aims to develop the innovative environment of Kyiv and introduce urban projects aimed at improving the comfort, standard of living and safety of the city residents. This is another step that will help realize ideas that are interesting and useful for the city. The implementation of innovative start-ups is an integral part of a smart and democratic city,” Director of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies Yuriy Nazarov said.

The agreement provides for the implementation of urban projects that meet the urban concept of Kyiv Smart City 2020, as well as the development of smart city infrastructure in the fields of medicine, education, infrastructure, security, public services and the like.
