Ukraine already pumped 17.4 bcm of gas into underground storages
JSC Ukrtransgaz has already pumped 17.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas into underground gas storage facilities and stopped pumping gas into four underground storages, according to the company’s press service.
"As of today, Ukraine accumulated 17.4 billion cubic meters of gas in its underground gas storage facilities, which is the highest figure since 2012," the report says.
JSC Ukrtransgaz has already completed the injection of gas at four out of 10 underground gas storage facilities as target indicators for 2019 have been reached.
"The pumping of natural gas continues at six other underground storage facilities, with an average daily volume of 75 million cubic meters.
As reported, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine plans to accumulate about 20 billion cubic meters of gas to ensure the stable heating season of 2019-2020.
