Turkey: PKK protesters clash with police and car bomb injures ten in Istanbul

There were clashes with police on Sunday evening in the southeastern town of Cizre where pro-PKK protesters attempted to keep Turkish security forces out of their neighbourhood by putting up barricades and digging trenches.

Riot police used tear gas and armoured vehicles to break up the crowd who responded with petrol bombs.

A bulldozer was set alight during the clashes.
