Tunisia has arrested three suspected jihadists said to be linked to supposed Berlin truck attacker Anis Amri.

The Tunisian Interior Ministry said those detained included one of Amri’s nephews. In a statement, it said the trio were members of a “terrorist cell…linked to the terrorist Anis Amri who carried out the Berlin attack”.

Tunisian Amri, 24, the chief suspect in Monday’s ISIL-claimed atrocity at a Christmas Market in the German capital which left 12 people dead and dozens more injured, was shot dead by Italian police in Milan early on Friday morning after opening fire on officers during a routine check.
