The EU recalled its increased support aimed at reducing the effects of Russia's destabilizing actions

Kiyv and Brussels require Moscow to ensure a smooth and free passage of ships to and from the Azov Sea.

According to "European Pravda", this is stated in a joint press statement following the sixth meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council on January 28 in Brussels.

"The EU has reaffirmed its policy of not recognizing the annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol illegally, in particular by restrictive measures.

The EU recalled its increased support aimed at reducing the effects of Russia's destabilizing actions in the Azov Sea, including the opening of an EU office in Mariupol and support for local economic diversification.
