The court in the Crimea began to consider a criminal case against Refat Chubarov

Refat Chubarov said that in Crimea they hastily sent a case to court to pronounce a sentence without the participation of an official lawyer

The Russian Supreme Court of Crimea, which is controlled by Russia, has begun consideration of the criminal case against the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov. This is reported by the Kryminform resource, close to the Russian authorities in Crimea.

Refat Chubarov said that in Crimea they hastily sent a case to court to pronounce a sentence without the participation of an official lawyer.

“They (Russian investigators) do this very hastily and without warning me or the lawyer. At the same time, we are trying to ensure that lawyer Nikolai Polozov enters the case, who is denied this at the investigation level. They quickly blinded this case and sent it to the Supreme Court, ”Chubarov said.

He noted that the court in Crimea "is illegal and makes decisions that are previously approved by the Russian special services."

“This is an attempt by the occupation regime to pronounce a sentence as soon as possible without the participation of an official lawyer,” Chubarov added.
