The explosion occurred at a market in the suburb of Madinat-es-Sadr city in northeastern Baghdad.
None of the groups operating in the region, has claimed responsibility for the attacks. In this case, before the extremist group "Islamic state" (IG) repeatedly took responsibility for the bombings in the Iraqi capital.
This group controls significant territory in the North and West of the country.
