Survey: Majority of Ukrainians support joining the EU and NATO

51.2% of respondents are of the opinion that joining NATO as an option to ensure security would be the best for Ukraine

Most Ukrainians support Ukraine’s accession to the EU and NATO. This is evidenced by the results of a study by the Democratic Initiatives Fund named after Ilk Kucheriv in conjunction with the sociological service of the Razumkov Center.

The study was conducted from December 13 to 18. According to its results, 64.2% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine should join the European Union. Another 12.7% of Ukrainians believe that it is necessary to join the Eurasian Economic Union, and 23.1% found it difficult to answer this question.

51.2% of respondents are of the opinion that joining NATO as an option to ensure security would be the best for Ukraine.
