Statistics: Decrease of Passenger at Kiev Airport "Sikorsky" this year
Passenger flow at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) decreased by 7.4% in January-November 2019, compared to the relevant period in 2018.
The press service of the airport wrote this on its Facebook page.
“In January-November 2019, Kyiv International Airport serviced 2.414 million passengers, which is 7.4% less compared with January-November 2019,” reads the report.
It is noted that the number of passengers serviced on international flights totaled 2.357 million.
The number of flights in January-November 2019 included 25,565 both arrivals and departures, which is 8.6% more compared with the same period in 2018, of which there were 21,532 international flights and 4,033 domestic flights.
The most popular international directions in January-November 2019 were Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Sharm el-Sheik (Egypt), Rome (Italy), Vienna (Austria), Berlin (Germany), Frankfurt am Main (Germany). Among domestic flights, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Lviv were in lead.
