Police open five cases due to clashes in Novi Sanjary

It concerns group disruption of public order

Police in the Poltava region opened five criminal proceedings following the clashes in Novy Sanzhary. This was announced by the head of the police in the Poltava region Ivan Vygovsky during a session of the Poltava Regional Council, reports RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations (ERDR) 5 criminal proceedings under Art. 293 (group disruption of public order), 294 (riots), 161 (violation of the equal rights of citizens depending on their race, nationality or religion), 279 (blocking transport communications, as well as seizing a transport company), 345 (threat or violence against a law enforcement officer).
