People in many Belarusian cities took to the streets on the evening of July 14 after the Central Election Commission refused to register Viktor Babaryk and Valery Tsepkal as presidential candidates.
People came out without posters and banners, gathered in different parts of the city, shouted slogans and clapped their hands. Some detainees were repulsed by security forces.
