The world's media writes about the preliminary results of the referendum on the independence of Kurdistan.

At current moment 282 thousand votes (approximately 9%) have been counted, 93% of them voted for independence. Against only 6.7%. The final results will be known on Thursday, September 28.

It should be noted that a total of about 3.3 million people took part in the referendum, the turnout was 72.16%. Against the referendum on the independence of Iraqi Kurdistan Baghdad stands Russia, United States, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and a number of other countries.

The day before it became known that the Iraqi parliament voted for the dismissal of all Kurdish officials who participated in the referendum.
