In six cities of Ukraine will test 5G-connection
In six cities of Ukraine will test 5G-connection. Such permission was granted by the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the field of communications and informatization, said in decision No. 509 of October 29.
Testing communications will be a subsidiary of Ericsson and operator lifecell.
Tests will be conducted at seven lifecell points of sale in six cities:
Kiev - Bessarabskaya Square, 2; Antonovich street, 176 (SEC "Ocean Plaza");
Dnipro - European Boulevard, 2;
Kharkov - street of Yaroslav the Wise, 33a;
Lviv - Liberty Avenue, 6/8;
Odessa - Deribasovskaya street, 19;
Cherkasy - Smelyanskaya street, 36.
Testing will be held from December 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020. The functionality of the base station equipment with which they will test 5G will be limited: only the Internet will be available without the ability to make calls.
