Ukraine’s Lviv and Turkey’s Antalya intend to become sister cities. Mayor of Antalya Muhittin Böcek stated this during a visit to Lviv, according to Antalya Ekspres.

Mayor of Antalya Muhittin Böcek stated this during a visit to Lviv, according to Antalya Ekspres.

“The necessary steps will be taken soon to sign a protocol on sister-city arrangement,” the mayor said.
According to him, the Antalya City Council adopted this decision and sent a corresponding letter to Lviv.

During the visit, the mayor of Antalya took part in the celebrations dedicated to Independence Day of Ukraine, and met with representatives of the Lviv City Council, who are responsible for tourism, economic development, investment and project management.

Also, the Turkish delegation attended a meeting of the working group of the International Turkish Ukrainian Business Association.
