Erbil, Baghdad Reach Ceasefire Agreement - Coalition

The ceasefire is agreed to cover all the fronts Kurdistan Region’s Peshmerga and Iraqi forces reached an agreement on Friday to halt military operations against each other, the US-led coalition has confirmed.
The ceasefire is agreed to cover all the fronts, Reuters cited Army Colonel Ryan Dillon, a spokesperson for the Coalition.
It comes after 11 days of military confrontations between both sides, as the result of which scores were left dead or injured.
The fighting, first initiated by Iranian-backed Shi’ite militias of Hashd al-Shaabi on 16th October, has also displaced over 120,000 civilians from Kirkuk, Tuz Khurmatu and some Christian areas in north of Mosul.
