The match took place at the Jan Breydel Stadium in Sint-Andries, Bruges, on Tuesday, August 6. Brugge midfielder Vanaken scored the only goal from the penalty spot in the 37th minute.
The return match will be played at the Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex in Kyiv on August 13.
