Average salaries grows by 16.4% in Ukraine

In October 2019, the average nominal wage in Ukraine made up UAH 10, 727, an increase of 16.4% year-on-year, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

In October 2019, the average nominal wage in Ukraine made up UAH 10, 727, an increase of 16.4% year-on-year, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

“In October 2019, the average nominal wage of a full-time employee of enterprises, institutions and organizations was UAH 10, 727, which is 2.6 times higher than the minimum wage (UAH 4,173). The average nominal wage increased by 0.4% compared with September and by 16.4% in the last 12 months (compared to October 2018),” reads the report.

It is noted that the real wage index in October 2019 totaled 99.7% compared to September 2019 and 109.2% compared to October 2018.
