The greeting text has been posted on Twitter.
“Sincere congratulations to the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis on re-election! The confidence of the overwhelming majority of voters is a solid credit for a new mandate. Looking forward to intensifying bilateral dialogue in the interests of our countries and the region,” Zelensky wrote.
Romania’s current President Klaus Iohannis won presidential runoff vote on Sunday. According to preliminary results, he garnered 66.5% of votes.
