According to the Ukrainian police, two unidentified assailants severely beat Semenjin when he was returning home at about 1 am, seriously injuring him.
Semenichin already at hospital for treatment, where he is currently undergoing intensive care in critical condition, while the Ukrainian police have opened an investigation into the incident.
