"Mostly unfree" Russia ranked 143rd from 178 countries. Kiev/Ukraine in Arabic/ "Mostly unfree" Russia ranked 143rd from 178 countries, as Ukraine Today has informed.
Ukraine is ranked 162nd place out of 178 countries in the just-released Index of Economic Freedom 2015.
So say experts from the American Research Center The Heritage Foundation and the newspaper The Wall Street Journal which annually create the index.
The Economic Freedom Index analayses property rights, investment climate, public expenditure management and the openness of markets in different sectors among other measures.
Russia's economy meanwhile was deemed "mostly unfree" and ranked at 143rd.
