On July 28, 2014 an organizational meeting of the Committee on International Relations of the Public Council was held in the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. Larisa Abramovich became a head of the Committee and Nadezhda Fedseeva-Efimishch became a chairman of the board of the International Union public organization (IU).
Members of IU regularly take part in activities aimed to protect and promote the rights of national minorities in the Ukrainian society. The activity of the organization is to create comfortable living conditions for members of different nationalities, cultures and religions in Ukraine.
