Overnight shelling has left three civilians dead and four others wounded in Donetsk, that's according to Ukrainian news agency TSN.
The Donetsk City Council reported that the militants had targeted mainly residential areas, with one shell hitting a school.
Further shelling damaged a power plant which may end up causing a blackout across the Russian-backed militant stronghold of Donetsk.
