A statue of Lenin was decorated with the colors of the Ukrainian flag in Russian city Cheboksary

Local Russian nationalists painted the Lenin monument in the blue-yellow colors. It happened during the visit of authorized representative of Russian president Vladimir Putin Mikhail Babich. Russian officials called the incident an act of vandalism and launched an investigation.
